A collaboration between Edition Julie Joliat and studio playground. Developed through a study of notebooks and sketchbooks from creatives within our community, this notebook is both an ode and antidote to note-taking. A playground for your ideas, drafts, and drawings. An open invitation to create and play – without the fear of ruining a page.

ABOUT THE NOTEBOOK
Inside, you will find 64 pages each filled with unique, fun and unexpected “playouts”, no repetitions, no imposed order, no same layouts.
A space for notes, drawings, ideas, drafts, thoughts, and scribbles – there is not right or wrong way to use it. This notebook is designed to have a fresh look at your notes.
The notebook is printed in light grey on exceptionally smooth, off-white paper, with a structured paper cover and staple binding that allows it to lie flat when open.
Made in Berlin using EU Ecolabel and FSC®-certified paper, mineral oil-free organic ink and no plastic.
Launched at a Berlin event hosted at the Klimaite Klimaite studio alongside Playground Magazine Issue 4
Original research by studio playground into people’s notebook habits informed both the notebook’s playouts and the ‘Deep Dive’ on notebooks featured in Issue 4
Accompanied by an interview with Julie Joliat in Playground Magazine Issue 4
