About Publisher

studio playground and its first title, Playground Magazine, were founded in Stockholm by Auste Skrupskyte Cullbrand in 2023 as an honest manifesto and a response to the need for better creative industries.

Exploring the business of creativity, Playground is a biannual magazine that questions and reimagines the creative industries through original reports, thought-provoking essays and honest conversations. Five issues in, it has become an internationally distributed, award-winning publication with a global community of readers and contributors.

Since 2025, studio playground has been expanding its publishing world through new titles, formats and objects.
